In Tuesday's league game, the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) soccer squad tipped the visiting Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), by a count of 2-1.

The Bulldogs (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Peach County (Fort Valley, GA). The Trojans go into the 3A Area 2 game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Peach County nipped Jackson (Jackson, GA), 3-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Knights confront the Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA) in a 3A Area 2 bout, on Friday, March 8. Upson-Lee will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 6-2 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Lamar County (Barnesville, GA).
