The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX) and the visiting Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX), saw Alvarado's soccer squad get by Ferris by a margin of 1-0.
The Indians now sport a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Godley for a 4A Region 1 District 6 test on Friday, March 8. Alvarado will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Kennedale (Kennedale, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-11.
With the loss, Ferris drops to 7-14 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a 4A Region 1 District 6 test on Friday, March 8. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 18-4. Life Waxahachie won 4-2 in their recent league test against Venus (Venus, TX)
