Magnolia West Mustangs (Magnolia, TX) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX) in a 5A Region 3 District 21 challenge, on Friday, March 8. Magnolia West will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 3-1 league win over Montgomery (Montgomery, TX).

The Cubs now have a 2-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to College Station for a 5A Region 3 District 21 challenge on Friday, March 8. Brenham will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Rudder (Bryan, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 13-3.
