Next, the Cougars confront the Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region 4 District 26 challenge, on Friday, March 8. Canyon will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a 4-18 record after their 4-2 league loss to Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX).

The Matadors now possess a 1-19 record. They take the field next when they host Boerne-Champion for a 5A Region 4 District 26 challenge on Friday, March 8. Seguin will confront a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 11-4.
