Texas High School Softball - Angleton bounces Friendswood

The Angleton Wildcats the host Friendswood Mustangs softball squad by a count of 7-3 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Wildcats (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX). The Indians go into the 5A Region III District 18 battle with a 16-5 record. In their last battle, Santa Fe nudged Ball (Galveston, TX), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Mustangs now sport a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe for a 5A Region III District 18 battle on Tuesday, March 12. Friendswood will meet a Indians squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Angleton (Angleton, TX). The Indians record now stands at 16-6.
