Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Magnolia Panthers (Magnolia, AR), 11-2 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hope for a 4A Region 7 challenge on Wednesday, March 6. Ashdown will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Camden Fairview (Camden, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Magnolia falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Arkadelphia (Arkadelphia, AR) to battle the Badgers in a 4A Region 7 challenge on Friday, March 8. The Badgers enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Arkadelphia lost 14-0 in their recent league challenge against De Queen (De Queen, AR)
