Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Killeen Kangaroos (Killeen, TX), 23-1 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Waco for a 5A Region III District 22 challenge on Friday, March 8. Belton will face a Lions squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Lake Belton (Temple, TX). The Lions record now stands at 0-11.

With the loss, Killeen falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Kangaroos travel to Lake Belton (Temple, TX) to face the Broncos in a 5A Region III District 22 challenge on Friday, March 8. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 18-3. Lake Belton won 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Waco (Waco, TX)
