Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Cooper Bulldogs (Cooper, TX) and the visiting Bland Tigers (Merit, TX), witnessed Cooper's softball squad prevail over Bland by a count of 10-0.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Cumby for a 2A Region II District 16 match on Friday, March 8. Cooper will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 10-8 league loss to North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Bland moves to 0-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Celeste (Celeste, TX) to meet the Blue Devils in a 2A Region II District 16 match on Friday, March 8. The Blue Devils go into the match with a record of 2-6. Celeste lost 6-5 in their recent league match against Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX)
