Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Brazos Cougars (Wallis, TX) and the host Hitchcock Bulldogs (Hitchcock, TX), witnessed Brazos's softball squad prevail over Hitchcock by a count of 12-3.

The Cougars now sport a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Danbury for a 3A Region III District 24 match on Friday, March 8. Brazos will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Hitchcock moves to 4-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX) to meet the Leopards in a 3A Region III District 24 match on Tuesday, March 12. The Leopards go into the match with a record of 9-2. Van Vleck won 9-3 in their recent league match against Hempstead (Hempstead, TX)
