Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Walnut Grove Wildcats (Prosper, TX) and the host Centennial Titans (Frisco, TX), witnessed Walnut Grove's softball squad prevail over Centennial by a count of 20-0.

The Wildcats now sport a 19-2 record. They play next when they host Emerson for a 5A Region II District 10 match on Friday, March 8. Walnut Grove will meet a Mavericks squad coming off a 9-3 league loss to Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Centennial moves to 4-12 on the season. The Titans travel to Independence (Frisco, TX) to confront the Knights in a 5A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, March 8. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Independence lost 9-5 in their recent league test against Memorial (Frisco, TX)
