Westridge Tigers (Pasadena, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Glendale Nitros (Glendale, CA), 8-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Rio Hondo Prep for a Prep challenge on Friday, March 8. Westridge will battle a Kares squad coming off a 13-8 non-league loss to San Marino (San Marino, CA). The Kares record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Glendale falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Nitros host Oakwood (North Hollywood, CA) to battle the Owls in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 7. The Owls enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Oakwood won 18-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Pasadena (Pasadena, CA)
