Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Jets now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Moore for a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Friday, March 8. Jordan-Matthews will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Northwood falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC) to battle the Buccaneers in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Friday, March 8. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Bartlett Yancey lost 14-3 in their recent league challenge against Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC)
