The Washington-Marion Charging Indians softball team (Lake Charles, LA), was routed 18-7 in Tuesday's league test with the host Leesville Wampus Cats (Leesville, LA)

Coming up next, the Wampus Cats clash with the DeRidder Dragons (DeRidder, LA) in a 4A District 3 test, on Thursday, March 7. Leesville will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 5-8 record after their 15-0 league win over LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA).

The Charging Indians (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Eunice (Eunice, LA). The Bobcats come into the 4A District 3 test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Eunice overcame Rayne (Rayne, LA), 9-8, in a league test.
