North Carolina High School Softball - Queen's Grant bounces Piedmont Community Charter

March 5, 2024: Gastonia, NC 28052

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) and the host Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC), witnessed Queen's Grant's softball squad prevail over Piedmont Community Charter by a count of 14-0.

The Stallions now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Union Preparatory for a non-league match on Friday, March 8. Queen's Grant will face a Polar Bears squad coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Concord Academy (Concord, NC). The Polar Bears record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Piedmont Community Charter moves to 0-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC) to face the Wildcats in a Metro Eight 1A match on Thursday, March 7. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 0-0.
