North Carolina High School Softball - South View bounces Seventy-First

March 5, 2024: Fayetteville, NC 28304

South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC), 19-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Douglas Byrd for a United Eight 3A/4A challenge on Friday, March 8. South View will face a Eagles squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Seventy-First falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to face the Bears in a United Eight 3A/4A challenge on Friday, March 8. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Gray's Creek lost 12-10 in their recent league challenge against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC)
