Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Timber Creek Falcons (Fort Worth, TX), 9-2 in a league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 17-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Keller for a 6A Region I District 4 challenge on Monday, March 11. Southlake Carroll will battle a Indians squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Keller Central (Keller, TX). The Indians record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Timber Creek falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX) to battle the Bobcat in a 6A Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, March 8. The Bobcat enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. Byron Nelson won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX)
