In Tuesday's league outing, the host Vela Sabercats softball team scored a nice 16-0 win over the Valley View Tigers.

Coming up next, the Sabercats encounter the Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 outing, on Friday, March 8. Vela will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record.

The Tigers (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Sharyland (Mission, TX). The Rattlers enter the 5A Region IV District 31 outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Sharyland prevailed over Vela (Edinburg, TX), 19-11, in a league outing.
