Spectators at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA) and the visiting Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA), witnessed Social Circle's baseball team knock off Alcovy by a count of 10-0.

The Redskins now own a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monroe Area for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 6. Social Circle will clash with a Purple Hurricanes team coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Stephens County (Toccoa, GA). The Purple Hurricanes record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Alcovy drops to 0-11 on the year. The Tigers host Apalachee (Winder, GA) to clash with the Wildcats in a 5A Area 8 challenge on Friday, March 7. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Apalachee won 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against West Hall (Oakwood, GA)
