The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL) and the host Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL), saw Homewood's baseball team beat Parker by a margin of 12-1.

The Patriots (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Enterprise (Enterprise, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, Enterprise defeated Auburn (Auburn, AL), 10-9, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Thundering Herd face the Orange Beach Makos (Orange Beach, AL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 6. Parker will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Makos enter the battle with a 4-3 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Pelham (Pelham, AL).
