The Mare Island Tech Academy Griffins baseball team scored 21 runs and held the host Impact Academy of Arts & Technology Spartans to 1 in the Griffins league win on Wednesday.

The Griffins now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bethel for a non-league test on Friday, March 7. Mare Island Tech Academy will play a Jaguars team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Impact Academy of Arts & Technology drops to 0-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to Leadership Public Schools Richmond (Richmond, CA) to play the Pumas in a Gold Division test on Friday, March 14. The Pumas go into the test with a record of 1-0.
