The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) and the visiting Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC), saw Smoky Mountain's baseball team beat Owen by a margin of 11-1.

The Mustangs (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Knights enter the Mountain Seven 3A battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, North Henderson defeated Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC), 12-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Warhorses face the Erwin Warriors (Asheville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 10. Owen will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC).
