Connecticut High School Basketball - Shepaug Valley knocks off Thomaston

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Shepaug Valley Spartans basketball team scored a good 70-54 win over the Thomaston Bears.
The Spartans (25-0) will now prepare for their contest against East Hampton (East Hampton, CT). The Bellringers come into the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, East Hampton defeated Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT), 56-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Classical Magnet Gladiators (Hartford, CT) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 6. Thomaston will attempt to better on its 17-7 season record. The Gladiators come into the contest with a 12-3 record after their 60-42 non-league win over Bullard-Havens (Bridgeport, CT).
