California High School Baseball - San Marin nips Petaluma

March 5, 2025: Novato, CA 94945

The San Marin Mustangs baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Petaluma Trojans to 5 in the Mustangs league win on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tamalpais for a test on Friday, March 7. San Marin will play a Red Tailed Hawks team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Vintage (Napa, CA). The Red Tailed Hawks record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Petaluma drops to 2-1 on the year. The Trojans travel to Analy (Sebastopol, CA) to play the Tigers in a test on Saturday, March 8. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-3. Analy lost 14-3 in their recent non-league test against Justin-Siena (Napa, CA)
