Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 7-2 in a league test.

With the triumph, Christ the King moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC) to clash with the Raptors in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A test on Wednesday, March 12. The Raptors come into the test with a record of 2-1.

The Cardinals now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln Charter for a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A test on Monday, March 10. Corvian Community will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
