Texas High School Soccer - La Vega nudges China Spring

In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting La Vega Pirates soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the China Spring Cougars.

The Pirates (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Lorena (Lorena, TX). The Leopards go into the 4A Region 3 District 23 outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, Lorena got by Meyer (Waco, TX), 6-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Cougars play the Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 23 outing, on Monday, March 10. China Spring will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Leopards go into the outing with a 13-3 record after their 5-0 league win over La Vega (Waco, TX).
