In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting El Dorado Aztecs soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Parkland Matadors.

The Aztecs (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Hanks (El Paso, TX). The Knights go into the 5A Region 1 District 2 outing with a 3-15 record. In their last outing, Hanks by Del Valle (El Paso, TX), 4-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Matadors confront the Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 2 outing, on Saturday, March 8. Parkland will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Trail Blazers go into the outing with a 9-6 record after their 1-0 league win over Horizon (El Paso, TX).
