Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM), 21-3 in a non-league bout.

The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Bel Air (El Paso, TX). The Highlanders go into the non-league bout with a 4-15 record. In their last bout, Bel Air was routed by Chapin (El Paso, TX), 28-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 14. Deming will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM).
