The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX) and the visiting Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX), observed Martin's softball team prevail over Lamar by a tally of 17-2.

The Warriors (4-7) will now prepare for their bout against Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Gophers go into the 6A Region I District 8 bout with a 7-9 record. In their last bout, Grand Prairie knocked off Bowie (Arlington, TX), 30-20, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 bout, on Friday, March 7. Lamar will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Buffalos go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 15-9 league loss to Arlington (Arlington, TX).
