North Carolina High School Softball - Swain County bounces Rosman

March 5, 2025: Rosman, NC 28772

The Swain County Maroon Devils softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Rosman Tigers to 2 in the Maroon Devils non-league win on Wednesday.

The Maroon Devils now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tuscola for a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. Swain County will confront a Mountaineers team coming off a 18-8 non-league win over T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Rosman moves to 1-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Draughn (Valdese, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a Western Highlands 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, March 11. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 1-0. Draughn won 16-14 in their recent non-league battle against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC)
