Alabama High School Baseball - Douglas defeats Brewer

In Thursday's non-league game, the host Douglas Eagles baseball team scored a close 11-5 win over the Brewer Patriots.

The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their game against West Morgan (Trinity, AL). The Rebels come into the non-league match with a 2-12 record. In their last match, West Morgan tipped Priceville (Priceville, AL), 4-3, in a non-league match.

The Patriots now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitesburg Christian Academy for a non-league match on Saturday, March 7. Brewer will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Westminster Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 1-3.
