The Corner Yellow Jackets softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Center Point Eagles to 0 in the Yellow Jackets league triumph on Thursday.

Next, the Yellow Jackets meet the Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 7. Corner will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Chilton County (Clanton, AL).

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairfield (Fairfield, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record.
