Alabama High School Softball - Sulligent bounces Fayette County

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Sulligent Blue Devils softball team scored a tight 12-7 win over the Fayette County Tigers.

The Blue Devils (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Lynn (Lynn, AL). The Bears come into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Lynn nipped Meek (Arley, AL), 5-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Gordo Green Wave (Gordo, AL) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 6. Fayette County will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Green Wave enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Lamar County (Vernon, AL).
