The St. James Sharks held off the host Socastee Braves soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Sunday's non-league match.
The Sharks now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Conway for a AAAAA Region 6 match on Tuesday, March 15.
With the loss, Socastee drops to 2-4 on the season. The Braves travel to North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC) to encounter the Chiefs in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 9. The Chiefs come into the match with a record of 4-1.
