In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Western Christian Wolfpack basketball team scored a decisive 69-44 triumph over the Monticello Panthers.
In their next game, the Wolfpack meet the Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 9. Western Christian will attempt to move on its 22-4 season record. The Norsemen enter the match with a 24-2 record after their 60-52 non-league win over Kuemper (Carroll, IA).
With the defeat, Monticello moves to 16-5 on the year.
