The Ponaganset Chieftains ice hockey squad scored 5 points and restricted the host Lincoln Lions to 3 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Monday.
With the victory, Ponaganset moves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Rogers (Newport, RI) to face the Vikings in a non-league contest on Sunday, March 12. The Vikings go into the contest with a record of 15-2. Rogers won 6-0 in their recent non-league contest against Cranston West (Cranston, RI)
The Lions now sport a 13-6 record.
