In Monday's non-league contest, the Hamilton Aggies (Hamilton, AL) softball team held off the visiting Russellville Golden Tigers (Russellville, AL), by a margin of 2-1.
With the triumph, Hamilton moves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Aggies travel to Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL) to play the Panthers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 7. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
