The Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Williston-Elko Blue Devils to 7 in the Trojans league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Ridge Spring-Monetta improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Trojans host Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 8. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Fox Creek Predators (North Augusta, SC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 7. Williston-Elko will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Predators come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Branchville (Branchville, SC).
