North Carolina High School Softball - Southern Alamance bounces Riverside-Durham

March 6, 2023: Graham, NC 27253

Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Eastern Randolph for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 9. Southern Alamance will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 17-6 league win over Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Riverside-Durham falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 7. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Southeast Raleigh won 21-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC)
