Oregon High School Basketball - Putnam nips North Eugene

Putnam Kingsmen (Milwaukie, OR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting North Eugene Highlanders (Eugene, OR), 61-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Putnam upgrades its record to 22-4 on the campaign. The Kingsmen travel to Wilsonville (Wilsonville, OR) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, March 8. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 24-3. Wilsonville won 56-51 in their recent non-league bout against Redmond (Redmond, OR)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Redmond Panthers (Redmond, OR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 7. North Eugene will attempt to upgrade on its 22-5 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 18-9 record after their 56-51 non-league loss to Wilsonville (Wilsonville, OR).
