In Wednesday's league challenge, the USC-MAE Trojans (Los Angeles, CA) volleyball team defeated the host Orthopaedic Vipers (Los Angeles, CA), by a count of 3-1.

The Trojans (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Aspire Ollin (Huntington Park, CA). The Jaguars come into the Freeway challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Aspire Ollin went down by Franklin (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vipers encounter the Downtown Magnets Suns (Los Angeles, CA) in a Freeway challenge, on Friday, March 8. Orthopaedic will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Suns come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Central City Value (Los Angeles, CA).
