The Verbum Dei Jesuit Eagles volleyball team (Los Angeles, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA)

The Swordsmen (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Serra (Gardena, CA). The Cavaliers enter the Santa Fe challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Serra defeated Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA) in a Santa Fe challenge, on Thursday, March 7. Verbum Dei Jesuit will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA).
