The Austin Catholic Crusaders (Chesterfield, MI) basketball felled the host Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 37-23 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Crusaders (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Parkway Christian thwarted Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI), 37-31, in a non-league test.
The Gazelles now own a 10-11 record.
