The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) and the host Sacred Heart Prep Gators (Atherton, CA), saw St. Ignatius College Preparatory's lacrosse team gain a win over Sacred Heart Prep by a margin of 13-10.

The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Menlo School (Atherton, CA). The Knights enter the WCAL challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Menlo School by Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA), 5-4, in a league challenge.

The Gators (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Redwood (Larkspur, CA). The Giants enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Redwood edged Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA), 14-4, in a non-league challenge.
