Arroyo Dons (San Lorenzo, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Dons now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennedy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 7. Arroyo will battle a Titans squad coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA). The Titans record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Dublin falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Gaels host Granada (Livermore, CA) to battle the Matadors in a East Bay challenge on Tuesday, March 12. The Matadors enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Granada lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Vintage (Napa, CA)
