Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hope Bobcats (Hope, AR), 10-3 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Hill for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 7. Ashdown will battle a Bears squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Taylor (Taylor, AR). The Bears record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Hope falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Ashdown (Ashdown, AR) to battle the Panthers in a 4A Region 7 challenge on Friday, March 8. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 6-0.
