The Belle Chasse Cardinals softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting South Plaquemines Hurricanes to 3 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Belle Chasse betters its record to 5-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy (New Orleans, LA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 4A District 10 battle on Thursday, March 7. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 0-1.

The Hurricanes now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson for a 2A District 9 battle on Tuesday, March 12.
