The Summerfield Rebels softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs to 3 in the Rebels league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Summerfield moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Rebels travel to Zwolle (Zwolle, LA) to play the Hawks in a non-league game on Saturday, March 9. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 14-1. Zwolle won 13-7 in their recent non-league game against Lakeside (Sibley, LA)

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Saline Bobcats (Saline, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 12. Gibsland-Coleman will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
