The Howe Bulldogs softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Pottsboro Cardinals to 2 in the Bulldogs league victory on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Bonham (Bonham, TX). The Warriors go into the 3A Region II District 11 battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Bonham was routed by Gunter (Gunter, TX), 16-12, in a league battle.

The Cardinals now sport a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Gunter for a 3A Region II District 11 battle on Friday, March 8. Pottsboro will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 16-12 league win over Bonham (Bonham, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-5.
