The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA), saw St. Michael's softball squad nip Port Allen by a count of 7-5.

The Warriors now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkview Baptist for a non-league match on Thursday, March 7.

With the loss, Port Allen falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Pelicans travel to Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Thursday, March 7. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 8-5. Ascension Catholic won 11-3 in their recent non-league match against Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA)
