Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Princeton Panthers (Princeton, TX), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Bearcats now own a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to McKinney North for a 5A Region II District 13 challenge on Friday, March 8. Sherman will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 25-10 league win over Greenville (Greenville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Princeton falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Denison (Denison, TX) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a 5A Region II District 13 game on Friday, March 8. The Yellow Jackets come into the game with a record of 12-6. Denison won 9-8 in their recent non-league game against Panther Creek (Frisco, TX)
